We are seeking a Registered Nurse to work at our Madison Cross Roads location. This family-friendly work environment offers a perfect schedule. This position is for five days a week (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday), 7:45 am to 3:30 pm and Fridays 7:45 am to 12:00 pm . 1. Triage patient to prep for visit with MD/CRNP. Review chart for referral status, needed tests, immunizations and order/obtain prior to visit. 2. At visit obtain vital signs needed for office visit. Collect and perform CLIA waived testing and administer treatments and medications as directed by MD/CRNP protocol/orders. 3. Proficient in administering vaccinations to all ages. 4. Document patient care in Electronic Medical Record. 5. Keep clinic stocked with equipment, vaccines, and supplies. 6. Schedule follow-up appointments with MD and make referrals as needed. 7. Complete prior authorizations for referrals and medications as needed. 8. Complete patient phone calls. 9. Patient/parent education. 10. Coordinate care with school nurse as needed for outreach and for follow-up patient care. 11. Managing the Vaccines For Children Program within your clinic. 12. Other duties as assigned. Requirements 1. 3-5 years of experience in a medical practice recommended 2. Current Alabama or multi state licensure, subject to primary source verification. 3. Up-to-date BLS Healthcare Provider CPR certification 4. Proficient use of computer and electronic medical record. 5. Team Player with good organizational skills
