Key Qualifications:

Valid special education teaching certification Previous experience working with elementary-age students preferred Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation Excellent communication abilities with students, parents, and colleagues Skilled in adapting curriculum and instructional strategies to meet individual needs Patience, creativity, and a team-oriented mindset

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs Deliver engaging instruction in accordance with students IEPs and district guidelines Assess student progress, track goals, and maintain accurate records Collaborate closely with general education teachers, support staff, and families Foster an inclusive, safe, and positive classroom environment Support students in building academic skills and social/emotional competencies Participate in professional development activities and ongoing training

Position Details:
