Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelors degree or higher in Special Education or related field Valid state teaching certification with Special Education endorsement Experience working with high school students in a resource or similar setting Familiarity with IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities Commitment to fostering inclusivity and advocating for students individual needs

Responsibilities:

Provide differentiated instruction and academic support to students on your high school resource caseload Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in compliance with federal and state regulations Collaborate with general education teachers, counselors, families, and support staff to promote student success Maintain accurate records, document progress, and actively participate in meetings and professional development Implement strategies to address behavioral, social, and emotional needs in addition to academic accommodations
