Position Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing to join our team at our Culver City Educational Center. This is a wonderful opportunity to make a meaningful difference by helping children and young adults with hearing loss, from birth through age 21, strengthen their communication, listening, literacy, and academic skills. The teacher will provide individualized and small-group instruction in a positive, encouraging environment while working closely with families and educational professionals to support each student's growth. Responsibilities Provide individualized and small-group instruction in speech, listening, literacy, and academic development. Develop engaging lessons based on each student's individual needs and goals. Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and educational professionals to support student progress. Complete session notes and progress reports and maintain regular communication with families. Participate in professional development opportunities and team collaboration. Foster a positive, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment where every child feels supported. Help students build the communication skills, confidence, and independence needed to reach their full potential. Qualifications Master's degree or credential in Deaf Education, Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, or a related field—or currently working toward one. Experience working with children with hearing loss is preferred. Passion for supporting children and families. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Dependable, compassionate, and able to work collaboratively as part of a team. Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus but not required. Location This is an in-person position at the No Limits Educational Center in Culver City, California.
