Qualifications:
Valid teaching credentials in Visual Impairment (TVI) or equivalent for the state of California Experience working as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired, preferably in school settings Strong skills in adapting curriculum/materials for visually impaired students Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities Willingness to embrace travel and adapt quickly to new environments
Responsibilities:
Provide individualized instruction and support to students with visual impairments Develop and implement adaptive lesson plans to meet IEP goals Collaborate with general education teachers, staff, and families Utilize a variety of assistive technologies and resources Assess student progress and document outcomes according to school and state requirements
