Key Qualifications:

Valid credential in Special Education or eligibility for mild/moderate authorization in California Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred Strong understanding of IEP processes and ability to write and implement individualized plans Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with families, general education staff, and support personnel Commitment to fostering an inclusive and engaging classroom environment Ability to adapt instructional strategies to meet diverse student needs Flexibility, creativity, and a positive attitude

Core Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for a caseload of elementary students Deliver direct instruction and support to students on-site, adapting lessons as necessary Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, specialists, and administrators to promote student success Maintain comprehensive documentation, progress reports, and compliance with federal and state regulations Support students in developing self-advocacy, academic, and social-emotional skills Engage regularly with parents/guardians to communicate progress and develop strategies for continued growth Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and team planning sessions
