Job Description
Qualifications:
Active Special Education Teaching credential (California or eligibility for reciprocity) Bachelors degree or higher in Education, Special Education, or related field Recent classroom teaching experience in special education preferred Strong knowledge of IEPs, differentiated instruction, and special education compliance Ability to create inclusive, supportive classroom environments Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills Collaborative, flexible approach to problem-solving and teamworkResponsibilities:
Develop and implement individualized instructional plans tailored to students needs Conduct assessments and track student progress, adjusting strategies as needed Maintain detailed records and prepare compliant IEP documentation Foster a positive, inclusive learning atmosphere and encourage student independence Communicate and coordinate with parents, support staff, and multi-disciplinary teams Support students social-emotional development, behavior interventions, and accommodations Enjoy the advantages of a clear schedule, working from mid-September through early June during the 2026-2027 school year.
