Qualifications & Experience:

Valid teaching credential with Deaf/Hard of Hearing specialization Experience supporting students with hearing loss, including familiarity with cochlear implants and other assistive technology Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills Ability and willingness to travel between multiple schools throughout the county Commitment to working fully on-site to provide direct, hands-on support

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver individualized and group instruction tailored to students' needs across a range of educational settings Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs for students with hearing-related needs Collaborate with general education staff, related service providers, and families to promote student engagement and success Utilize technology and resources to support communication and learning for students with varying degrees of hearing loss Provide consultation, resources, and professional development to school teams as needed Take advantage of a consistent Monday-Friday schedule with a total of 35 hours per week in this engaging position.
