This full-time, immediate-start assignment extends through the end of the school year, focusing on serving a single Resource Specialist Program (RSP) caseload. Key Qualifications:
Valid and active California Education Specialist Credential (required) Experience working as a Special Education Teacher, preferably within school settings Skilled in developing and implementing IEPs tailored to diverse learner needs Strong communication and collaboration abilities with students, families, and educational teams Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide individualized and small-group instruction for RSP students Develop, write, and maintain compliant IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams Track and communicate student progress toward goals with clarity and compassion Adapt teaching strategies and materials to accommodate student strengths and areas for growth Cultivate a supportive classroom culture that values diversity and promotes student independence Participate in meetings, professional development, and collaboration with colleagues as needed
