Multiple openings are available:
One Elementary Special Education Teacher (15-20 student caseload) One High School Special Education Teacher (15-20 student caseload) One Center-Based Middle School Special Education Teacher (4 student caseload) Most support and instruction are provided through push-in services, collaborating closely with general education staff to deliver inclusive tailored learning experiences. More specific details regarding each position will be shared during the interview process.
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
Valid Special Education teaching license for Colorado (or eligibility to obtain) Experience in elementary, middle, or high school special education settings preferred Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation Ability to adapt instruction and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams Compassionate, flexible, and student-focused mindset
Key Responsibilities:
Manage assigned caseloads in compliance with state and federal guidelines Provide individualized and small group instruction primarily through push-in services Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families Maintain thorough documentation and regularly communicate student progress Foster an inclusive, positive classroom environment
