Each position is based at a dedicated site, focused on either affective needs or autism spectrum support, with manageable caseloads and a collaborative school environment.
Key Qualifications:
Valid special education license through CDE Experience working with students with emotional and behavioral disabilities or those on the autism spectrum Strong case management and organizational skills Proficiency in writing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Ability to provide differentiated instruction tailored to varied learning needs Collaborative approach to working with students, staff, and families
Primary Responsibilities:
Manage a caseload of approximately 15 students, ensuring all required documentation and services are provided Develop and implement IEPs, partnering with multidisciplinary teams Deliver engaging, individualized instruction to promote student growth Support positive behavior strategies and classroom management Maintain ongoing communication with families, therapists, and school partners Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom climate These roles offer a consistent weekly schedule of 37.5 hours, Monday through Friday, at one of four dynamic school sites.
