Key Qualifications:

Current special education license issued by the Colorado Department of Education (CDE) Experience working with students who have emotional, behavioral, or communication needs is strongly preferred Solid understanding of IEP development, student case management, and effective instructional methodologies Ability to build strong relationships while providing positive behavior support Collaborative spirit and commitment to advocacy for students with special needs

Primary Responsibilities:

Manage a caseload of approximately 15 students in a center-based setting, with assignments in either affective needs or autism-focused programs Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction that supports academic and behavioral growth Partner with general education staff, related service providers, and families to ensure each student's success Provide targeted behavior support and implement evidence-based interventions Maintain accurate, timely documentation and case notes according to school and state requirements Benefits of this
