Qualifications:

Valid Connecticut Special Education Endorsement (DSAP-qualified candidates are encouraged to apply) Minimum of 2 years recent teaching experience Proven ability to write, implement, and manage IEPs Background in high school resource settings preferred

Responsibilities:

Provide push-in and pull-out academic support for a caseload of approximately 25 high school students Write and implement effective IEPs Attend and present in IEP meetings Conduct assessments and progress monitoring Collaborate with general education teachers to support classroom success
