Qualifications:

Active Delaware Special Education (DE SPED) teaching license required Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher strongly preferred Ability to design and implement IEPs tailored to individual student needs Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills Commitment to fostering an inclusive, positive learning environment

Responsibilities:

Deliver specialized instruction to students with diverse learning needs, guided by IEPs Develop lesson plans and adapt curriculum to ensure accessibility and engagement Monitor, assess, and report on student progress regularly Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to foster student success Maintain accurate records and comply with all state and federal special education regulations This is a full-time, contract position (37.5 hours/week, 5 days/week) starting as soon as possible and extending through June 11, 2027.
