We provide individualized education in a nurturing, supportive environment where every child receives the attention they deserve. With a maximum of six students in the classroom, we are able to tailor instruction to each child's unique strengths, learning style, and developmental needs. As part of an interdisciplinary team, our educators work alongside experienced Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and behavior professionals to provide students with both academic and behavioral support. Position Summary We are seeking an energetic, compassionate, and experienced Special Education (ESE) Teacher to lead a small classroom serving students with a variety of learning needs. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about creating engaging learning experiences while helping children build confidence, independence, and academic success. You will work with students with a variety of diagnoses, including autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, developmental delays, and other exceptional learning needs. The ideal candidate is patient, creative, organized, and committed to helping every student reach their full potential. This is a part-time position (8:00 AM-12:00 PM) with the opportunity to transition into a full-time salaried position (8:00 AM-4:30 PM) as the program continues to grow. Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging, individualized instruction that meets each student's unique learning needs. Create a structured, positive, and nurturing classroom environment. Adapt lessons and instructional strategies to support diverse learners. Support students' academic, social, emotional, and behavioral development. Implement positive behavior supports and effective classroom management strategies. Collaborate with BCBAs and ABA therapists to promote student success across educational and behavioral goals. Learn and incorporate Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles into the classroom with guidance from experienced BCBAs. Utilize ABA strategies such as antecedent interventions, task analysis, prompting hierarchies, reinforcement, and skill breakdown to maximize student learning and independence. Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress. Maintain classroom organization and appropriate student records. Collaborate with the school director and clinical team to foster a positive, student-centered learning environment. Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of experience working with children in special education,. Experience working with students with autism, developmental disabilities, ADHD, or behavioral challenges is strongly preferred. Teaching certification is not required . Experience with ABA is a plus but not required. Energetic, patient, dependable, and highly organized. Strong classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills. A genuine passion for helping children learn, grow, and succeed. What We Offer $24.00-$25.00 per hour.
