In this vital role, you will implement targeted literacy and math interventions to support students who need additional assistance in developing foundational reading, writing, and numeracy skills. Your expertise will help foster a love of learning, boost student confidence, and promote academic success through evidence-based strategies and personalized instruction. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young learners' educational journeys while collaborating with educators, specialists, and families. Duties Design and deliver individualized and small-group reading and math interventions aligned with curriculum standards and student needs. Conduct ongoing student assessments to monitor progress, identify areas for growth, and inform instruction through data analysis. Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and other educational professionals to integrate intervention strategies within the broader instructional framework. Utilize evidence-based practices such as assessment-driven instruction, Multi-tiered Systems of Support (MTSS), and academic interventions to support diverse learners, including those with disabilities. Manage classroom behavior effectively while maintaining a positive learning environment conducive to student growth. Maintain detailed records of student progress, intervention plans, and compliance with educational regulations. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Education, Special Education, Early Childhood Education, or a related field; advanced degrees preferred. Demonstrated experience in literacy education, teaching young children or early childhood development is highly valued. Strong knowledge of curriculum development, lesson planning, assessment-driven instruction, and classroom management techniques. Experience working with students with disabilities or in special education settings is preferred. Proven ability to analyze student performance data for quantitative evaluation of progress and adjust interventions accordingly. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with colleagues, students, families, and external partners. Knowledge of educational compliance standards and regulations related to elementary education is essential.
