Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate High School Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various subjects, including Math, English, and Physical Education, and will be committed to fostering a positive learning environment. This role requires effective communication skills, classroom management abilities, and a dedication to student development. The High School Teacher will be responsible for creating engaging lesson plans, mentoring students, and supporting their academic growth. Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with curriculum standards. Teach subjects such as Algebra, Geometry, Calculus, and Literacy education. Utilize learning technology to enhance classroom instruction and student engagement. Conduct assessments and standardized testing to evaluate student progress. Provide tutoring and academic advising to support individual student needs. Mentor students in both academic and personal development. Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a conducive learning environment. Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and educational initiatives. Engage in public speaking opportunities to present educational programs or workshops. Participate in sports coaching or physical education activities as needed. Experience Proven experience working with students in a classroom setting is essential. Familiarity with teaching methodologies such as Montessori or special education practices is a plus. Strong writing skills for proofreading and copy editing lesson materials. Experience in education administration or library services can enhance the teaching approach. Background in creative writing or communication skills will benefit lesson delivery. Previous experience in mentoring or tutoring roles is highly desirable.
