Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Homeschool Teacher. We were awarded Step Up For Students and the difference will be paid privately. We have a sweet 9 year old boy in Public school, who has all A's & B's. We feel it will be a better fit for him to have more attention. Our son is on the spectrum, very bright, and does most of his work on his own. We feel with the focus on him, he will excel more and be challenged. Duties Develop and implement customized lesson plans aligned with educational standards and individual student needs Utilize Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other learning technology tools to facilitate interactive lessons and track progress Adapt instructional methods to accommodate various learning styles and special education requirements, including working with students with disabilities Communicate with Mom & Dad to provide updates on student performance, behavior, and curriculum adjustments Analyze student performance data to identify areas for improvement and modify instruction accordingly Incorporate diverse teaching strategies such as literacy education, math instruction, music lessons, and writing skills development to support comprehensive learning Requirements Proven experience in classroom teaching, including elementary school teaching experience or private school background Strong knowledge of childhood development principles. Familiarity with curriculum development, implementation, and instructional modifications for diverse learners Proficiency with LMS platforms, learning technology tools, and standardized testing procedures Experience working with children from diverse cultural backgrounds and those with disabilities or special needs Excellent communication skills for effective parent collaboration and student engagement Ability to analyze student performance data to inform instruction and support academic growth Knowledge of educational compliance regulations and best practices in behavior management Demonstrated ability to work independently while maintaining high standards of professionalism and accountability We look forward to hearing from you and seeing if you are the perfect fit for our son.
Pay:
$30.00 - $35.00 per hour Expected hours: 25.0 per week
