Key Qualifications:

Active GaPSC Teaching Certificate required, with both Special and General Education Endorsements specifically covering Pre-K age groups. Experience working with young children in a Special Education environment, especially those who are non-verbal or have limited verbal ability. Confidence with hands-on support, including assisting with toileting/diapering and feeding. Understanding and managing various student behaviors with patience and empathy. Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive classroom for learners with varying levels of need.

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver specialized instruction and adapt curriculum to meet each child's unique abilities and learning style. Support students' daily living skills, including toileting, diapering, and feeding, with a compassionate and respectful approach.
