Your key qualifications:
Current SPED certification from GaPSC with content coverage through 8th grade Adapted Curriculum Endorsement required District open to candidates with pending credentials Experience or strong interest in working with lower-functioning or self-contained student populations Commitment to a full-time schedule (37.5 40 hours per week) Ability to work collaboratively with classroom support staff and specialists What your responsibilities will include: Delivering individualized and group instruction based on adapted and functional curriculum Creating a supportive and structured environment for students Implementing IEP goals and documenting student progress Collaborating with paraprofessionals and the registered behavior technician Communicating regularly with families and participating in IEP meetings Maintaining compliance with state and federal special education guidelines Why consider this role?
