9651025-60004 Job Description Step into a rewarding contract role supporting students as a Special Education Teacher in an elementary school setting near Arlington Heights, IL. This full-time opportunity focuses on co-teaching 5th grade in a positive, collaborative environment where your expertise will make a meaningful difference. Youll engage with a small and manageable caseload (currently 6, possibly 7 students) alongside dedicated team members. The assignment runs from October 1, 2026, through June 2027, with 35-37 hours per week, giving you the structure and stability to focus on what matters most student growth and success.

Desired Qualifications:

Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) with LBS1 endorsement is required Experience in co-teaching and collaborating within an inclusive elementary setting is highly valued Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring Ability to foster a positive, encouraging classroom culture for 5th-grade learners Compassionate approach paired with strong communication and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:
