Qualifications:

Current Illinois Occupational Therapist (OT) license is required Previous experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations is highly valued Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to design and implement effective treatment plans Familiarity with IEP processes, documentation, and educational teams

Responsibilities:

Deliver occupational therapy services to students in accordance with their IEP goals Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine students functional needs within the school environment Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to promote student access and participation Develop and maintain thorough documentation for all services rendered Contribute to case conferences and IEP meetings, sharing observations and recommendations Adapt activities to maximize student independence and success in the classroom Provide consultative support and training to educational staff as needed
