Qualifications:

Current and valid Illinois Physical Therapy (PT) license Previous experience in a school-based or therapeutic day school setting preferred Understanding of IEPs and the ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team Strong communication and organizational skills Compassion, adaptability, and commitment to student-centered care

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct physical therapy services to students based on individualized education plans (IEPs) Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and document student progress Consult with teachers, staff, and families to support student goals and encourage carryover of strategies Travel between assigned sites (elementary, high school, and transition program) as needed during the workweek Participate in team meetings to contribute expertise and suggestions for student programming
