Pay Rate:
Starting at $50.00/hr Birch Agency is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher for an Elementary School in Naperville, IL . This temporary position will run from August 17, 2026, through November 2026. The ideal candidate will provide individualized instruction, support students with diverse learning needs, collaborate with educational teams and families, and foster academic, social, and emotional growth in an elementary school setting. Key Responsibilities Provide individualized instruction aligned with IEP goals Develop and implement accommodations and modifications to support student success Deliver specialized instruction in individual, small-group, and classroom settings Foster a safe, structured, and positive learning environment Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families Monitor, track, and report student progress regularly Participate in IEP meetings and maintain required documentation Support students' academic, behavioral, and social-emotional development Qualifications Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) LBS1 Endorsement required Experience working with elementary-aged students with special needs preferred Strong classroom management and communication skills Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team Commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment Why Join Birch Agency?
