This full-time contract opportunity focuses on delivering expert instruction and collaboration within first and second-grade inclusion classrooms. The role starts as soon as possible and continues through May 28, 2027, offering you a unique chance to foster learning and growth across multiple school years.
Key Requirements:
Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) with LBS1 endorsement required Demonstrated experience or strong interest in teaching in inclusive elementary settings Ability to collaborate effectively with general education teachers, school support staff, and families Strong communication, organization, and adaptability skills Commitment to creating an equitable, supportive learning environment for all students
Primary Responsibilities:
Support students with diverse needs in inclusive first and second-grade classrooms Collaborate with classroom teachers to differentiate instruction and adapt curriculum materials Develop and monitor IEP goals, ensuring compliance with all federal and state special education regulations Track and document student progress, communicating regularly with families and team members Foster an engaging, patient, and respectful classroom atmosphere where every child can thrive
