Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract An exciting opportunity awaits passionate Special Education Teachers ready to make a difference in middle school education! This contract position for the next school year is tailored for a dedicated professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and is committed to helping every student succeed. This full-time role runs from August 19, 2026, to May 28, 2027, and involves working alongside fellow educators to co-teach English Language Arts and math for 6th and 7th graders. Structured to optimize learning, the schedule offers a steady 35 hours per week, starting at 7:45am and wrapping up by 2:50pm each day.

Key Qualifications:

Hold a valid Professional Educator License (PEL) with an LBS1 endorsement Demonstrable experience teaching in special education settings, ideally at the middle school level Adept at co-teaching models and collaborating with fellow instructors Strong communication and organizational skills Passion for fostering inclusion and adapting instruction to diverse learners' needs

Responsibilities:
