With two contract positions available, you'll play a vital role in fostering student growth and supporting teachers, making a daily impact in the classroom. Key Qualifications:
Current and active Illinois Professional Educator License (IL PEL) required Experience as a paraprofessional or supporting students in K-12 education preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Reliable, adaptable, and dedicated to student success Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and staff Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and a safe learning environment
Primary Responsibilities:
Assist classroom teachers with instructional support and classroom management Work directly with students to reinforce material introduced by teachers Provide individualized attention to students when necessary Support inclusion of all students, adapting materials and strategies for diverse learners Monitor student engagement and behavior, offering positive guidance Assist in supervising students during classroom activities, transitions, and breaks Help with preparation and organization of instructional materials and resources
