Category Schools - Paraprofessional Job Type Contract Make a direct impact in the classroom by working as a 1:1 paraprofessional in a school environment near Elgin, IL. This contract opportunity allows you to support a single student's educational journey, providing personalized assistance and helping them reach their full potential. Work closely with teachers and special education teams to create an inclusive and supportive learning experience.

Desired Qualifications:

Experience as a school-based paraprofessional or working in educational settings Demonstrated ability to build rapport and foster trust with students Understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and willingness to follow them closely Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills Ability to collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or para certification a plus
