Description:
Position Summary CV-Tek is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to join our team. This position is responsible for accurately picking customer and machine orders in a fast-paced warehouse environment while maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting daily warehouse operations. The Inventory Clerk utilizes handheld scanners and the Infor ERP system to process inventory transactions and ensure order accuracy. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, reading comprehension, initiative, flexibility, and a commitment to continuous learning. The ideal candidate takes ownership of their work, asks questions when needed, learns from mistakes, and consistently strives to improve performance. This is an active position requiring standing and walking throughout the entire shift and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Accurately pick and verify customer orders and machine orders using pick lists, handheld scanners, and inventory management systems. Ensure correct quantities and items are selected and prepared for shipment or internal production use. Maintain inventory accuracy through proper inventory transactions and established procedures. Utilize the Infor ERP system and other computer applications to process inventory-related activities. Perform inventory counts and assist with inventory control activities as assigned. Maintain organized inventory locations and warehouse storage areas. Assist with receiving, stocking, and material handling activities as needed. Perform routine housekeeping and janitorial duties to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Identify and report inventory discrepancies, damaged materials, or process issues. Follow all company safety, quality, and operational procedures. Demonstrate flexibility by assisting in other warehouse functions as business needs require. Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and accuracy. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements:
Required High school diploma or GED. Ability to read, understand, and follow written instructions, pick tickets, and inventory documentation. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. Experience using ERP, inventory management, warehouse management, or similar business systems. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Effective verbal and written communication skills in English. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and workload demands. Preferred Previous experience in warehouse, inventory control, order fulfillment, or distribution operations. Experience using handheld barcode scanners. Experience working with Infor ERP software. Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Physical Requirements Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the work shift. Frequent bending, reaching, stooping, twisting, and manual handling of materials. Ability to work in a warehouse environment.
