Qualifications:

Current and valid LBS1 license required Experience or strong interest working as a Special Education Teacher, especially with primary, K-1 age groups Demonstrated ability to manage and instruct in a self-contained classroom

Responsibilities:

Provide engaging, individualized instruction to K-1 students in a split, self-contained classroom Develop and implement IEPs, adapting lessons to meet each students needs Employ evidence-based strategies and collaborate with other educators and support staff Maintain a full-time schedule from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm at one school location
