Desired Qualifications:

Valid Special Education teaching certification Prior experience teaching middle school preferred Strong instructional skills in math and English Language Arts Ability to co-teach and collaborate on lesson planning, particularly in science and social studies Excellent communication and organizational skills Dedication to fostering an inclusive learning environment

Your Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging instructional math and English Language Arts lessons to 6th graders Collaborate with general education teachers to co-teach science and social studies in 7th grade Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Monitor and document student progress, adapting strategies to individual needs Maintain regular communication with parents, support staff, and administration Foster a supportive, respectful classroom environment that encourages growth and inclusion This contract role offers competitive pay, along with access to medical, dental, and vision plans, plus 401(k) options.
