Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract position as a Special Education Teacher supporting students in a vibrant educational setting near Franklin, IN. Key Qualifications & Experience:
Active Indiana teaching license required Certification in Mild Intervention for resource role (caseload: 25-30 students) Certification in Intense Intervention for essential skills role (caseload: 10 students) Experience collaborating with classroom teachers, support staff, and families Strong organizational and communication abilities Commitment to fostering inclusivity and personalized support for all learners
Core Responsibilities:
Provide direct instruction and case management for special education students based on caseload assignment Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student strengths and needs Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary Work in partnership with general education teachers to support classroom integration and modifications Maintain timely and accurate documentation of student performance and IEP goals Engage positively with families, keeping them informed of progress and collaborating closely to meet student objectives
Role Details:
Contract position: full-time, Monday through Friday 37.5 hours per week Schedule is typically 8:20 AM to 3:10 PM (subject to adjustment depending on classroom or student needs) This is your chance to make a significant impact in the lives of students and be part of a dedicated educational community.
