Key Qualifications:

Valid Special Education Teaching Certification for Indiana Experience or passion for working with students in life skills or multi-categorical classrooms Ability to collaborate effectively with paraprofessionals, administrators, and parents Strong classroom management and individualized instruction skills

Primary Responsibilities:

Lead instruction in an intermediate life skills classroom, guiding a group of nine students with varying needs Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's abilities Foster a positive, supportive, and inclusive learning environment Collaborate closely with assigned paraprofessionals to ensure each student receives the attention and support they require Communicate regularly with colleagues and families about student progress and needs Work full-time (37.5 hours per week), Monday through Friday, onsite for the full 26/27 school year (September to June)
