Your expertise as a Special Education Teacher will help guide and develop instructional strategies for students requiring tailored educational experiences. As a crucial resource for both students and staff, you will assist in self-contained blocks, create and implement necessary accommodations, and maintain compliance by expertly writing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Key Qualifications:
Valid Special Education Teacher certification (or eligibility) for the state. Previous experience supporting students in an elementary setting. Strong understanding of IEP development and legal compliance. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to modify instructional materials and adapt teaching styles as needed. Comfort in both resource and self-contained teaching environments.
Primary Responsibilities:
