Responsibilities Design and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, incorporating instructional modifications for students with disabilities or special needs Deliver individualized instruction that addresses each student's unique learning style, including those with developmental disabilities, autism, or visual impairments Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive behavior management strategies and classroom management techniques Utilize educational technology tools and learning technology to enhance instructional delivery and student engagement Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student progress, behavioral concerns, and educational goals Collaborate with special education teams, therapists (such as speech therapy or behavioral therapy), and other educators to develop and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Assess student progress through standardized testing, formative assessments, and observational data to inform instruction and support academic growth Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Education, Special Education, Child Development, or related field; advanced certifications preferred Proven experience working with children in classroom settings, including early childhood education or preschool environments Strong knowledge of special education laws, IEP development, instructional modifications, and educational compliance standards Experience working with students with disabilities such as autism spectrum disorder or developmental delays is highly desirable Excellent communication skills for effective parent engagement and team collaboration Proficiency in educational technology integration and instructional design principles Ability to manage classroom behavior proactively while fostering a positive learning atmosphere Knowledge of literacy education, math instruction, physical education basics, recreational therapy techniques, and early intervention strategies is a plus This role is ideal for passionate educators committed to making a difference in the lives of children by providing inclusive, innovative, and supportive learning experiences.
