With positions available at a single location, you'll foster relationships with students, staff, and families, making a real difference every day.
Available roles include:
Middle School Teacher working with students navigating emotional disabilities Middle School Teacher focusing on individuals with functional and life skills needs Elementary Teacher dedicated to students experiencing emotional disabilities
Desired Qualifications:
Current Kansas Special Education Certification (KS SPED Cert) Experience with students who have emotional disabilities and/or functional/life skill requirements Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team Strong communication and classroom management skills Empathy, patience, and a commitment to inclusive education
Core Responsibilities:
Develop and implement personalized education plans (IEPs) tailored to individual student needs Deliver high-quality instruction, utilizing evidence-based strategies Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records Foster a positive, inclusive classroom climate that encourages social and academic growth Engage in regular communication with parents, guardians, and education professionals to support each students development Participate in school meetings, professional development, and collaborative initiatives This full-time contract position offers the chance to work a consistent schedule of 37.5 hours per week through the end of May 2027.
