Full-time openings are available for immediate start through the end of May 2027. Work at a single location and choose from three specialized roles: middle school instruction for students with emotional disabilities, middle school support for those with functional or life skills needs, or elementary teaching for students requiring emotional disability services.
Qualifications & Experience:
Valid Kansas Special Education Certification required Experience working with students with emotional or behavioral disabilities and/or functional/life skills challenges Familiarity with implementing IEPs and differentiated instruction Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary school teams and families Passion for fostering inclusive and supportive classroom environments Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities
Key Responsibilities:
Design and deliver individualized instruction based on IEP goals in a supportive and engaging classroom setting Employ diverse learning strategies to meet a wide range of student needs Create a positive, structured classroom climate and promote social-emotional growth Work closely with related service providers, administrators, and parents to support student success Monitor and report progress, adjust strategies as needed, and maintain accurate documentation Foster self-advocacy and independence in students This is a rewarding contract role with the chance to specialize and grow professionally in a supportive environment where youll truly make a difference.
