9668340-70068 Job Description Step into a rewarding role supporting students as a Special Education Teacher on a contract basis. Multiple positions are available, each offering the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the classroom. These positions begin ASAP and run through May 25, 2027, with a consistent weekday schedule averaging 35 hours per week (7.5-hour days with a 30-minute unpaid lunch). The daily schedule typically runs from 7:40am to 3:00pm.

Available Positions:

K-1st Grade (Self-contained, Significant Needs): Manage a caseload of 5-6 students, providing individualized instruction and support. K-6th Grade (Montessori Setting, Self-contained): Work in an innovative learning environment serving students across multiple grades. 4th-6th Grade (Self-contained): Deliver specialized education and behavioral interventions to upper elementary students.

Desired Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Special Education or related field; valid state teaching certification Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher in a self-contained classroom Familiarity with ABA methodologies and managing significant behaviors is strongly preferred Strong communication, adaptability, and organizational skills Ability to build rapport with students, families, and staff
