A full-time contract opportunity is available for talented and compassionate Special Education Teachers for substantially separate classrooms serving students in grades K-1 and 3-5. These classrooms are designed for students with significant cognitive and physical disabilities, many of whom are non-verbal or on the autism spectrum. Some children will also have RBT support in the classroom. Preferred candidates possess experience with specially designed instruction and applied behavior analysis. This role is onsite and warmly welcomes travel professionals motivated to provide direct, hands-on support. The schedule is consistent and full-time, offering a chance to build strong, lasting connections with students and their support teams.

Ideal Qualifications:

Valid Special Education Teacher credential Experience in substantially separate classroom settings Background supporting students with significant cognitive and physical disabilities Familiarity with toileting and related personal care support Skilled in managing non-verbal communication and autism spectrum needs Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) and specially designed instruction Ability to collaborate with paraprofessionals and RBTs Excellent communication and teamwork skills Strong organizational and classroom management abilities
