Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a special education teacher supporting K-3 students in a specialized therapeutic classroom setting. This position is located near Cambridge, MA, and offers the chance to create meaningful impact with a small group of five learners who benefit from individualized attention and structured support.
Qualifications:
Current Massachusetts Special Education (SPED) licensure for relevant grade levels Experience implementing IEPs and adapting curriculum for diverse learning needs Strong communication and collaboration skills for partnering with staff and families Compassionate approach and ability to foster a nurturing, structured classroom environment Dedication to supporting students academic, emotional, and behavioral growth
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated instruction in accordance with IEP goals Create a safe and consistent environment tailored to students therapeutic needs Work closely with paraprofessionals, therapists, and related service providers Monitor student progress, document data, and provide regular updates to the team Communicate effectively with families regarding student development and milestones Employ positive behavior support strategies and restorative practices This contract position provides access to highly competitive pay with weekly direct deposits.
