Desired Qualifications:
Valid certification as a Special Education Teacher Strong reading instruction background, with specialized reading program certification/training Experience supporting elementary students, particularly grades 2-4 Proven ability to differentiate instruction for diverse learning needs Excellent classroom management and leadership skills Positive behavior support expertise
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver specialized and differentiated reading instruction Support academic, social, and behavioral growth for students with exceptionalities Collaborate with general education teachers to develop and implement IEPs Employ positive behavior interventions and supports Communicate progress and strategies with families and educational teams
