Key Qualifications:

Valid certification or licensure to teach Deaf or Hard of Hearing students Experience working within school settings, preferably with elementary or K-12 age groups Strong knowledge of tailored instructional strategies and assistive technologies for students with hearing loss Excellent consultative and communication skills Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including educators, staff, and families

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

Providing expert consultation for a caseload of three students identified as Deaf or Hard of Hearing Developing and implementing individualized education strategies in line with student needs and IEP goals Serving as a resource for classroom teachers regarding instructional modifications, accommodations, and effective communication techniques Troubleshooting and advising on auditory equipment and classroom accessibility Maintaining accurate, responsive documentation for all student interactions and consultative services Participating in meetings, providing recommendations, and supporting educational teams as needed throughout the school year This contract, part-time position offers the opportunity to make a direct impact in students lives with a consultative focus, ensuring each learner receives the tools and accommodations essential for classroom success.
