Category Schools - Teacher of the Deaf / Hard of Hearing - Telehealth Job Type Contract A specialized opportunity is available in Baltimore, Maryland for a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing with expertise in telehealth and teletherapy to provide consultative services. This contract role involves delivering tailored support to students requiring specialized services through flexible virtual support.

Responsibilities:

Conduct teletherapy and telehealth sessions focusing on the unique needs of students who are deaf or hard of hearing. Develop and implement individualized strategies to support students' educational and communication goals. Collaborate with educators and families to enhance student progress through consultative guidance. Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and student progress. Stay current with best practices and technology advancements related to teletherapy and deaf/hard of hearing education.

Qualifications:

Certification or licensure as a Teacher of the Deaf or Hard of Hearing in Maryland. Proven experience delivering education and therapy services via telehealth platforms. Strong understanding of communication modalities and assistive technology for deaf and hard of hearing students. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to provide consultative support efficiently within scheduled service hours.
