Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking an enthusiastic and innovative STEM Teacher with a focus on coding and engineering to inspire and educate students across various age groups. Duties Design and implement comprehensive STEM curricula emphasizing coding, robotics, engineering principles, and hands-on projects that align with educational standards. Develop lesson plans that incorporate learning technology tools and interactive activities to enhance student engagement. Utilize Learning Management Systems (LMS) to track student progress, assign coursework, and facilitate online learning components. Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students, including those with disabilities or special education requirements. Manage classroom environments effectively to promote positive behavior, collaboration, and active participation among students. Assess student performance through formative and summative evaluations, including standardized testing preparation and tutoring sessions. Collaborate with colleagues to integrate literacy education, math skills, and other core subjects into STEM lessons for a well-rounded educational experience. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Education, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degrees are a plus. Proven classroom experience with children or young learners in a school setting; private school or Montessori experience is advantageous. Strong knowledge of curriculum development for STEM subjects, including coding languages and engineering concepts. Familiarity with learning technology platforms such as LMS tools and digital resources for classroom instruction. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or in special education environments is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage students, parents, and colleagues. Demonstrated classroom management skills with the ability to foster a positive learning environment. Knowledge of childhood development principles and behavior management strategies. Ability to plan lessons that incorporate literacy education, math integration, standardized testing preparation, and tutoring techniques.
