Job Summary We are seeking dedicated and energetic Educational Technicians to join our dynamic special education team. In this vital support role, you will assist classroom teachers in delivering engaging, inclusive, and effective instruction tailored to diverse student needs. Responsibilities Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards across subjects such as literacy, math, and early childhood education. Support classroom management by assisting with behavior management strategies and maintaining a positive, structured environment conducive to learning. Provide individualized educational support to students, including those with disabilities or special needs such as autism, ensuring equitable access to learning activities. Help prepare instructional materials and resources that enhance lesson delivery and student engagement. Monitor student progress and communicate observations to teachers for ongoing assessment and curriculum development. Support teachers in managing classroom logistics, including attendance tracking, behavior management assistance, and implementing classroom routines. Requirements Prior experience working with children in educational or childcare settings such as daycare, preschool, private schools, or early childhood programs. Knowledge of special education principles, childhood development, behavior management techniques, and curriculum development. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with teachers, parents, and students. Technical proficiency with educational tools and classroom technology. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or autism is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to assist in lesson planning for diverse learners across subjects like literacy education and math. Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude. Pay:
$21.70 - $32.67 per hour
