• Jenison is seeking an experienced Lead Teacher for our 2-Year-Old classroom.

You'll create a positive environment where children can build language, independence, friendships, and confidence while learning through hands-on exploration. Key Responsibilities Lead daily classroom routines and learning experiences Implement The Learning Experience's L.E.A.P. Curriculum Engage children through art, sensory play, music, movement, stories, language, and imaginative play Encourage communication, independence, and self-help skills Support children's social-emotional development and peer interactions Use positive guidance and consistent classroom expectations Support toileting, diapering, meals, rest time, and daily routines Observe and document children's developmental progress Guide and collaborate with Assistant Teachers Build strong relationships with children and families Follow Michigan licensing and center requirements Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Previous professional childcare or early childhood classroom experience required Experience with toddlers or 2-year-olds strongly preferred CDA, Early Childhood Education coursework, degree, or other qualifying credential preferred Must meet Michigan requirements to serve as a Lead Caregiver Patient, positive, energetic, and confident leading a classroom What We Offer $17
