Job Description

Make a difference in the lives of students by stepping into a Special Education Teacher position supporting resource classrooms at the elementary or middle school level. Two opportunities are available serving students in a dynamic and inclusive learning environment. Specify your preference for working with elementary or middle school-aged learners. Youll work closely with a manageable caseload10 students at the elementary level or 11 at the middle school. Qualified professionals will support their growth both academically and socially, utilizing creative interventions and collaborative planning with colleagues.
What Youll Bring:
Active Michigan Special Education Teacher license (please provide a screenshot or copy when applying) Experience or enthusiasm for working in resource rooms at the elementary or middle school level Skill in adapting general curriculum to meet diverse learning needs Strong communication and collaboration abilities with staff and families Commitment to fostering an inclusive and engaging classroom community
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver specially designed instruction within a resource setting for assigned caseload Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs, ensuring compliance with all state and federal requirements Collaborate with classroom teachers, school staff, and families to support student success Track progress, provide regular feedback, and adjust interventions as needed Maintain accurate and timely documentation
Position Details:
