This contract opportunity calls for a dedicated Special Education Teacher to contribute to an innovative program serving elementary students with autism and diverse developmental needs. The role is part of an established and expanding center-based program designed to nurture student growth and success within a supportive, collaborative school setting.
Key Qualifications:
Current Minnesota Special Education Teacher license (Tier 3 or Tier 4 only) Previous experience working with students on the autism spectrum or with varying developmental needs preferred Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities Adaptable and skilled at creating engaging, individualized lesson plans Commitment to inclusive education and positive behavior support
Primary Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver tailored instruction to students enrolled in the Ready, Set, Launch program Conduct individualized assessments and maintain meaningful IEP documentation Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including parents, related service providers, and fellow educators Foster a supportive and respectful classroom culture that encourages student independence and confidence Participate in ongoing professional development and program enhancements Adapt teaching strategies to meet a range of learning and behavioral needs This position offers weekday, daytime hours and the chance to join a committed group of professionals focused on making a tangible impact on students educational journeys.
