Job Description

Make a meaningful impact by providing specialized instruction and support to students in a cluster classroom setting. This full-time contract role supports a team-based environment where you'll collaborate with paraprofessionals and fellow educators to help every learner reach their potential.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
Valid Special Education teaching credentials Experience in classroom settings focused on students with developmental cognitive disabilities (DCD) and autism spectrum disorder (ASD) Familiarity with center-based programs and individualized education plans (IEPs) Strong classroom management skills and the ability to build rapport with students and staff Commitment to on-site work (remote or hybrid work not available) Effective communication and documentation abilities
Core Responsibilities:
Provide direct instruction to a cluster classroom of approximately ten students alongside a team of paraprofessionals Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs tailored to each students needs and goals Foster a structured, positive, and inclusive learning environment Collaborate with colleagues, administration, and families to ensure strong support for student growth Track student progress and maintain detailed records according to district and state guidelines Initiate timely interventions and adapt teaching strategies as necessary
Assignment Details:
Full-time contract, 37.5 hours per week, 7:20am3:20pm Assignment runs from November 1, 2026, through February 15, 2027 Work with a supportive team in a well-equipped elementary school Embrace an opportunity that values your expertise in special education and allows you to make a difference every day.
