Qualifications:

Valid Minnesota Teaching Credential in

Special Education:

Developmental Cognitive Disabilities Experience teaching or supporting students with developmental or cognitive disabilities in a school environment preferred Ability to adapt lesson plans and learning materials to meet students diverse needs Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, caregivers, and staff Able to work exclusively on-site (fully in-person required)

Responsibilities:

Lead instruction in a center-based classroom for students with developmental cognitive disabilities Create and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs); monitor and report on student progress Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive educational support Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom atmosphere that encourages student growth Employ specialized instructional strategies and behavior management techniques Communicate regularly and effectively with parents/guardians and relevant school staff
